What / Where I Ate - Pink Heaven Bakeshop & Bistro

A new food haven discovery, though few months older now, is the PINK HEAVEN Bakeshop and Bistro in Talisay City, Cebu.  Frankly, I did not expect to find something like this in that city.  It was still morning time and we had an annual check-up for our dear car.  Queue was quite long and I was hungry, as usual.  We were at an advantage since there was a commercial strip which was a block away from where we have the car checked.  And there we discovered that heaven is also colored in pink. I highly favor the color pink and so upon seeing the signage, I was totally intrigued.  We opted this bistro over the familiar fast-food chain which ran adjacent.  The pink color was conspicuous. The eating tables and chairs were wooden and reminded me of grade school years. The place was engaging which made me more excited to scan through their menu. See the photos below for the foods that we ordered for our breakfast slash brunch. While waitin...

What / Where I Ate - Cafe Racer (Diner)

Cebu City and its neighboring city of Mandaue are definitely two good places to pig out when in the province of Cebu.  Restaurants, cafes have sprouted here and there for the past few years, more faster, than compared before, say, 5 years ago. CAFE RACER diner is one addition to the list of eating places that is situated in Mandaue City.  It is not just a place to dine, but also a best option to have your car washed while you have your stomach filled with a sumptuous meal, more so, let your sense of sight be visually entertained by the mix of vintage and sporty ambiance of the diner. Enjoy my photos below as I captured the interior/exterior spaces of the cafe and not missing out the foods that we binged one Saturday afternoon.  Here are the foods that we ordered for our late lunch.  My sister was loving this burger (it was there second time to eat at the cafe, while it was my first).  This is called the CLASSIC CHOR...

Cafe Chronicles: Cafe Jasmin

Cebu has a lot to offer, when it comes to cafes.  I have been in search for cafes here in the metro since I arrived from my vacation in Bangkok , Thailand on October 2014.  It has been 15 months since that travel and by far, I have had several discoveries since then.   CAFE JASMIN is the new addition to my list of new-found gems (cafe) in Cebu City. Jars of coffee beans originating from the different parts of the globe. Our choice of coffee is always a yin and yang.  My forever food buddy always go for something warm, while I always opt for the sweet and cold caffeine drink. My rating for this frappe, i think this was Chocolate Chip - happy me - was 8 of 10. The cafe has quite wee space but the baubles created a hectic and lively ambiance. Lots of reading stuff for the bookworm to enjoy while sipping their favorite coffee. CAFE JASMIN is located at E-Zone (adjacent  Monster Franks ), Panagdait Street, Kasamba...

What / Where I Ate - Monster Franks

MONSTER FRANKS ®™ is franchise company, based in Cebu and also a sausage manufacturer and direct importer of Canada's finest herb and spices all natural gourmet sausages.  Monster Franks is serving delectable Hungarian sausages that you would crave for everyday. I was hungry after my forver food buddy fetched me from work, so we drove along F. Cabahug St. in Kasambagan and saw this mini diner named Monster Franks at the E-Zone compound.  And so we went in and our sense of smell was overwhelmed with the zest and piquancy of the grilled Hungarian sausages. We ordered for the sausage only and took it home with us.  The taste of the Hungarian sausage unbelievably exceeded my expectations.  I am honestly not a die-hard fan of sausages, my forever food buddy loves 'em, but Monster Franks Hungarian sausage oozed with superb melange of spice and everything unforgettable to my gastronomic memory. I love Hungarian sausages now! This partic...
