I DRESS-UP AND EAT

We decided to spend a few days in Davao City to visit family and some relatives on the week of December last year.  Yes, this is another throwback to my travels with foods for 2016.  Whenever we travel to Davao City, we always checked-in at Legaspi Suites . Have you heard of BONDI AND BOURKE? Yes? No?  When we stepped inside the restaurant, it was my very first time also to discover that such restaurant existed in the Philippines.  I emphasized "in the Philippines", since they have also branches in Makati City and Taguig City in the Luzon region.  (F.Y.I. When in Davao City, Philippines, me and my forever food and travel buddy have sort of vowed to only stay at  Legaspi Suites .  And so we did and we always will.  During our last visit in December 2016, a new cafe was serving the complimentary breakfast of the suites, which is situated on the ground floor near the left gate of the compound. Breakfast in Legaspi Suites was served at CAFE MARIUS from 6:00 - 10:00 in the morning. I found the cafe cute in the sense that it was appealing to the girl's heart through its consistently purple theme.  It looked like the dining area/kitchen of a dollhouse. For the complimentary breakfast, we were only allowed to choose from the "ALL DAY MEALS" section of the menu. the   h o t el - g a l l e r y : Ponce Suites   is located at Corner Roads 3 & 4 Doña Vicenta Village, Bajada, Davao City. How I find out about this hotel?   I was in search for places to stay for our trip in Davao and when I clicked on the link to the suite, I was astounded with all the optical grandeur.  From then on, my excitement never stopped till the day we arrived at the lobby of the hotel-gallery.  The place was far better from the pictures that were posted on their website.  Aside from the outrageous virtual masterpieces in and out of the hotel gallery, what I liked about the place is that Ponce Suite is situated in a peaceful, safe, quite village, so unlikely right?   It is indeed a must-see for art lovers like me.    It did quench my craving for the arts. the  a r t i s t : Kublai Ponce-Millan , who created all these giant works, was born on July 8, 1974 in Cotabato City.
