Cafe Chronicles: CHARLIE BROWN CAFE in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

I have always been in the hunt for themed cafes, most especially when I travel out of my country.   Winter time early this year, 2017, I had the optimal odds to proceed on the search for uniquely conceptualized cafes in Hong Kong.  First stop: CHARLIE BROWN CAFE I am not a fan of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang but the thought of zoning into a playful childish realm with all things cartoonish makes my heart fluster and ignites an excitement of rekindling with my younger self.  Since my visit to the Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine and the Snoopy's World on September 2015 in Hong Kong, you can see my blog post HERE and HERE , I have been itching to explore other spots in Hong Kong where I can get to mingle with the latter fictional character.  After thorough research on the internet, I enlisted CHARLIE BROWN CAFE in our itinerary for our winter 2017 vacation to Hong Kong. Fast Fact on Charlie Brown via the Wikipedia: Charlie Brown  is the central protago...

What / Where I Ate in Hong Kong - POPEYES LOUISIANA KITCHEN

Travelling is such an amazing experience, most especially if the trip is outside of the country.  Last March of this year, I had the chance to travel, for the very first time to the United States of America. But, since we travelled with Cathay Pacific, it is but part of their route to always make a stop over in Hong Kong.  We had a lay-over of more than 12 hours.  And what better way to spend such free time is to step on to the soils of Hong Kong. An OVERNIGHT in Hong Kong is not complete without having to see and experience the bustling night life of the city. For my dinner during this stay, we opted for Chinese noodles, the YAU MA TEI noodles as recommended by the husband of my boss.  Unfortunately, I was not unable to capture the noodles that we ate. This is my first photo for the hashtag: #fromwhereistand .   This is the very first photo of the series of #fromwhereistand shots, and the first shot is in Hong Kong.  It was even l...

Cafe Chronicles in Hong Kong: PACIFIC COFFEE

I did not miss the chance to taste coffee in Hong Kong.   My choice is always a dose of frappe with chocolate, either chips or flavor on it. My overall rating: coffee drink + ambiance + services + value for money = 8 of 10 (mostly for the coffee, the area was not spacious enough) Travel, Drink Coffee and Eat good food, everyday!

What / Where I Ate in Hong Kong - The Spaghetti House

Few years back, during a family vacation in Hong Kong, we attempted to have lunch at this pasta house, but did not pursue. Finally, I have the chance to dine at The Spaghetti House during a business trip in Hong Kong. I am to begin this post with my overall rating of the restaurant: 8 of 10. The ambiance is A-Ok, the services of the staff were good as well, the food (presentation, serving, taste) was not a problem at all.  But I think, the 2 missed points are due to the pricing of the dishes.   Below are photos of the foods that we ordered.  But unfortunately I was not able to take down the correct names of these dishes.  ('Was to hungry to take snapshots and taste everything that was served on the table). - Salad - - Soup with bread - The Spaghetti House is a relatively old restaurant which initially opened in the late 1970's - 1979 in exact, by an Australian and British individuals. - A seafood fettuccine - - another pa...
