Coffee Date With Dad at STARBUCKS in Cebu City, Philippines

Coffee dates are so relaxing and fulfilling especially when my date, sipping his favorite Americano, is my dad!

It is not yet Father's Day but I am just recollecting my memories together with my dad especially those caffeinated tête–à–tête leisure moments.  There are at times that I get to spend hours with my dad alone, either we go malling and running errands for mom or when my mom is in the province that leaves the two of us at home.  And since aside from shopping (yes my dad loves to shop and I guess I inherited that from him too), one relaxing activity that we share together is visiting one of our favorite coffee shops, STARBUCKS!

As you can see, the pictures do not include a warm cup of Americano, as he was almost an hour late from our "date" since he was watching a boxing show at the cinema.  Yes, this blog post is a throwback to one of my coffee dates with my dad last December 2016.

Let's proceed to talk about my favorite frappuccino at Starbucks, the JAVA CHIP FRAPPUCCINO coffee based blended beverage.  When I say favorite, it means it is the only kind of frappucino that I order every time I visit Starbucks.  That and only that!

Fast Fact:  Did you know that the word FRAPPUCCINO is a trademarked brand of the Starbucks Corporation for a line of blended coffee beverages that are served cold. It consists of coffee or other base ingredients (e.g. strawberries, bananas, cream), blended with ice and other various ingredients, usually topped with whipped cream and sauces.  - wikipedia

It was Christmas season that time and I was surprised that one of the staff approached me, holding a tray of sampler sizes of the limited Christmas edition frappuccino. Of course, despite it was not my favorite, but since it was for free, I grabbed one cute cup of Peppermint Mocha without hesitation, see above photo.  Then a bit later, another staff came, and presented the other Christmas holiday frappuccino: Toffee Nut Latte, see photo below.  Definitely, I picked one.  I also ordered for their CINNAMON ROLL, because I love cinnamon and I shared this with my dad.  One thing though, I do not share my frappuccino with my dad since he finds it too sweet and it is cold too.

Worn my craftsy bracelets/rosary during that coffee date.  I was too unpreoccupied while waiting for my dad so I decided to capture these artsy religious blings and post it here too.

This particular branch of STARBUCKS is located on the Upper Ground Floor, Seaview Wing, SM Seaside City Cebu, SRP (South Road Properties), Cebu City, Philippines.

Photos were taken using LG Nexus 4 cellphone.
