Cafe Chronicles: Hello Kitty House in Bangkok

The morning itinerary for Day 4 of our Bangkok 10-2014 vacation with my forever travel buddy, was decided the day before Day 4 came.  Why so?  Hello Kitty House was an amazing discovery we have made the day before Day 4 while we were strolling into the newly renovated Siam Square. Can you just imagine how ecstatic I was with this discovery?! I was too eager that time to get inside the cafe when we passed by, but it was too crowded then, so my forever travel buddy suggested we come back in the morning the next day as early birds so that I can capture pretty and people-less photos inside the cafe.  And yes, it was indeed one brilliant suggestion! I was dumbfounded upon entry to the cafe.  The Hello Kitty House exuded with #cutenessoverload and everything was a delight to my sense of sight. The interior design was delicately nostalgic of my salad days. Pink perfection and adorable" kawaii-ness" was consistently maintained floor to ceiling. To describe the ...

What/Where I Ate: La Vie Parisienne Cebu

La Vie Parisienne in Cebu is located at 371 Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City. For this post, I am opting to be in a less-verbose mode but more optically generous, sharing to you photos that are so delectable to the eyes to make you crave to rush immediately to this place in  Lahug, Cebu City. La Vie Parisienne offers all tasty, all delectable to the sense of sight, smell and taste.   This beautifully ornamented place allows us experience and "taste" the Parisian life , in which the latter phrase is actually the meaning of La Vie Parisienne.   The outfit I am wearing in this post may look familiar.  Yes, you are right, the outfit is so familiar as I have worn the same dress as in this post HERE .  The day we went to the mountainous area of the city in the previous post is the same day when we dropped by here in La Vie Parisienne.  Though I changed my sneakers in to my slippers and put on my baseball cap. My ...

Enjoy Coca-Cola!

" Enjoy Coca Cola !" and Open Happiness To start with, this is not a sponsored post, nor I am promoting Coca-Cola.  It just so happened that I have purchased this sort-of advertising top and also was able to purchase for the first time these new flavors of the most popular brand of soda drink: Coca-Cola in cherry flavored and caffeine-free variants.  In this scorching hot weather, Coca-Cola soda drink sure quenches the thirst for anything liquid.  And me, I am definitely enjoying my Coca-Cola! If you asked where I bought my canned Coca-Cola? at SHOPWISE grocery located at N. Bacalso Avenue, Basak, Mambaling, Cebu City. What I Wore: black top with butterfly mesh sleeve - Cyecle stretch pedal pushers - gifted by my sister white flats - G.Grand Mall Lapu-Lapu City sunglasses - G. Fiesta Mall Live in style, everyday!

Cafe Chronicles: Cafe Tiala

I've researched another Cafe within Cebu City and ended up this cutesy, girlish Korean-inspired cafe located at a building that is adjacent to the Grand Convention Center in Archbishop Reyes Avenue. Second Stop: C A F E    T I A L A Cafe Tiala has a different theme from the first cafe that we stepped foot on (remember Coffee Prince? HERE ) since they have ladies dress in maid uniforms to welcome and render their services to the customers. Complementary sandwich and hot tea. Cute menu set that comes in a box. Of course, we ordered Korean spicy noodles and rice which was presented in a heart shape, another cutesy presentation. Fish cakes, so rich in flavor, that's why we ordered rice. I promised myself (almost like a vow, lol) that every time I visit a cafe for the first time, I have to order my favorite caffeinated Java or chocolate chip frappe.  Good that Cafe Tiala has their rendition of Java chip frappe.  It's presentation perfectly matches for a princess, a frappe...
