What / Where I Ate - Vue Dine and Drink

We frequent the island of Mactan on weekends as we send off our dad to the airport usually on Sunday afternoon for his flight back to Bacolod City in Negros Occidental.  As our usual time of getting on the island is between 2:00-3:00 o'clock in the afternoon, we always end up searching for restaurants or fast-food chains to feed our growling stomachs. We planned ahead that we will take a visit at a resto bar located at the Cebu Yacht Club, which is called VUE Dine & Drink. Overlooking the yachts that were unlimitedly docked.  Great view, isn't it? The time we arrived was too early for dinner, so we had our snacks and here's our selection. The earliest to arrive at our table was the Potato Fries .  Not your typical fast-food fries, say McDonalds / Jollibee, as the fries were not completely peeled.  Taste was a so-so, price was Php 80.00 per serving.  My rating: 7 of 10. Cafe Chronicles: Hello Kitty House in Bangkok

The morning itinerary for Day 4 of our Bangkok 10-2014 vacation with my forever travel buddy, was decided the day before Day 4 came.  Why so?  Hello Kitty House was an amazing discovery we have made the day before Day 4 while we were strolling into the newly renovated Siam Square. I was dumbfounded upon entry to the cafe.  The Hello Kitty House exuded with #cutenessoverload and everything was a delight to my sense of sight. The interior design was delicately nostalgic of my salad days. Pink perfection and adorable" kawaii-ness" was consistently maintained floor to ceiling. To describe the ...

Cafe Chronicles: Cafe Tiala

I've researched another Cafe within Cebu City and ended up this cutesy, girlish Korean-inspired cafe located at a building that is adjacent to the Grand Convention Center in Archbishop Reyes Avenue. Second Stop: C A F E    T I A L A Cafe Tiala has a different theme from the first cafe that we stepped foot on (remember Coffee Prince? HERE ) since they have ladies dress in maid uniforms to welcome and render their services to the customers. Complementary sandwich and hot tea. Cute menu set that comes in a box. Of course, we ordered Korean spicy noodles and rice which was presented in a heart shape, another cutesy presentation. Fish cakes, so rich in flavor, that's why we ordered rice. I promised myself (almost like a vow, lol) that every time I visit a cafe for the first time, I have to order my favorite caffeinated Java or chocolate chip frappe.  Good that Cafe Tiala has their rendition of Java chip frappe.  It's presentation perfectly matches for a princess, a frappe...
