Revisiting BANANA LEAF in Cebu City, Philippines

My family frequents BANANA LEAF in Ayala Center Cebu either for lunch or dinner.  We have dined in this restaurant several times but this is my second feature about this fusion restaurant.  See HERE for my 2010 blog post.

BANANA LEAF is a multi-awarded in international restaurant that pioneered introduction of  Southeast Asian cuisine to Filipino diners since 2001 through the authentic delights of modern Malaysian, Singaporean, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese and Indonesian foods.

These photos were taken few years ago but I have almost forgotten about them.  I was deleting some folders from my photos and discovered that I have not posted this set.

For sure if you have just recently eaten at Banana Leaf, you can determine that these are old shots since the last time we have dined there, the restaurant no longer provided an advertising table napkin and my photo above still have their signature table napkin.

We were only four during this visit, however we ordered 7 kinds of dishes.  Maybe we were too famished that time that we just ordered and ordered without minding if the plates can still fit in those cramped tables.

We ordered for the following, see HERE for their full menu:
soup - TOM YUM KUNG
salad - ROASTED CHICKEN AND MANGO SALAD
noodles - MEE GORENG
fish (under seafoods) - TILAPIA FILLET ASSAM SAMBAL SAUCE
vegetable - SWEET CRISPY KANGKONG
meat - 1.) CHICKEN SATAY
2.) CHARCOAL GRILLED SLICED PORK STEAK THAI STYLE

We ordered for STEAMED WHITE RICE, not pictured.  For my drinks, when dining at Banana Leaf, my choice is always the THAI MILK TEA, not pictured also.
